Hash House Harrier Adventure Run

The Middle Georgia Hash House Harriers & Harriettes (MGH4) and the Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday Hash House Harriers (W3H3) will be organizing a hash for the Macon Beer Festival – Pints for Prostates Event.

This “drinking club with a running problem” invites you to put on your old running shoes, and tattered running clothes for an off the beaten path experience. The “HARE” will lay a trail through Macon, usually off the beaten path with toilet paper and flour, and you, the “hounds” will try to catch the hare. At the end of this adventure run, there is a fun social and what hashers call “circle” to socialize and laugh about the adventure. Participants must be 21 and over.

Macon Beer Fest’s “Beer Run – 1 Mile”

This truly is a beer run. Individuals or a team of four, run a mile, and stop four times to drink a beer. Competitors must drink canned beer and should not be less than 355ml. No specialized cans may be used to give an advantage by allowing the beer to pour at a faster rate. No straws or devices may be used. All beers will be a minimum of 5% alcohol by volume. Hard ciders and lemonades will not suffice. It is strongly suggested to tip the can to show all the contents have been consumed before continuing the race.
